African man meditating.

I know there is a place
Where I shall run no race
I am sure there is a space
Where there is no menace.

I will surely go from here
I shall shed no more tear
No burdens I shall bear
When I finally get there.

The truth is I'll return home
No more shall I feel lonesome
I shall face no more sorrow
Neither shall I feel so low.

I am sure I shall go forth soon
It could be before the new moon
If not on a beautiful afternoon
Maybe on one sunshiny morning
And there’ll be no more mourning.
