Georgia is an author, writer, and poet. She hails from Anambra state, Nigeria. She works (volunteering) with Poets in Nigeria (PIN) and Writers space Africa-Nigeria(WSA-N). She has been published in the Society of Young Nigerian Writers' RAPE anthology, Kalahari Review, and otEvery Human Should Be A Tree literary magazines. She is a psychology student from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. She is the author of Naked; a poetry collection, Thorns and petals, and otEvery Human Should Be A Tree unpublished works.
Every human should be a tree for a day
give the brain a break
provide the world with shade and oxygen
break leaves and branches
and still, stand tall.
Every tree should be a human for a day
flee at the sight of a danger
travel the world with maps
carry their offspring, sing them to sleep
laugh to the jokes of their lover.
