African women playing the drums

Let's put our rebellion in lyrics,
so the king would dance,
Let's put our rebellion on the hips
of some twerking twinks,
so the khaki man will ignore that we called his mother a whore.

When cries and woes are deafening praises,
& Stand-uppers, midget are filled with repetitive headlines,
God forbid we cry again,
When a chorus is forever a tool.

Come, let’s sing a rebellious song.
